Thanksgiving was a few days ago and it was very good.
I always enjoy spending time with my immediate family and also all of my aunts, uncles, and cousins. Combined, I think there are almost 30 of us now. Rather large family equals fun times when we all get together!
It was good to see everyone this week because I had not seen everyone since June and I won’t see them at our annual family Christmas gathering the weekend before Christmas. I missed last year’s too because I was in Charlotte with my sister because Aiden had just arrived or was about to arrive. I will be missing it this year because I’ll be spending the weekend with some friends in WV for a bachelor party. Everyone gave me the look when they found out I would not be at the Christmas luncheon. It does make me a little sad.
Anyway, I am very thankful for my family and friends, my job, my life so far, and generally most everything good
I need to go to the grocery store today, get some homework done, vacuum and dust, and start getting things done for the next couple of weeks because some things can’t wait for the last minute.

So yeah, I’ve pretty much been useless the last two days. The only thing I’ve been good at is cleaning up and watching football.
I almost died today, at least my heart felt like it. I still do not know how Appalachian won the football game today. Game Recap.
Appalachian has won the last two FCS (Div 1-AA) Football championships the last two years. No one has ever won it three years in a row, which is what we are trying to do. We should have lost the game today. James Madison ran over us all day. We could not stop them. That’s been a problem a few other games this year, when we face someone that has a spread offense like our own, our young defense has a hard time stopping the other team. Our offense has never had much problems, except for turnovers at inconvenient times, but our defense sometimes struggles.
And get this, Duke is tied with UNC at halftime, 7-7. That’s crazy. Duke is actually playing pretty well. I have been rather impressed. If Duke wins today, then all my luck for the next couple of years is spent. App barely wins and Duke wins, it’d be crazy.
Anyway, I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Learn, love, and be happy.
